Hey BYC,

So a hawk got my Dominique on Tuesday T.T It's been a rough few days, especially since she was my favorite hen. I was recalling fond memories of her and noticed that she really liked to shrink her neck down and look like the attached image (from wikipedia). I don't think any of my other hens do this (I have Wyandottes, RIRs, and sex-links), so is this something unique to Dominiques? It's really cute.

No, it's not unique to them. Lots of breeds will do that when they're cold.
