Unknown chicken breed??

Can anyone tell me what kind of chicken they think this is and if it's male or female? It is 16 weeks old

Almost certainly a rooster. Best guess at breed is some kind of mutt , or a production red type bird.

Well he has pink legs and few breeds have pink legs, Orpington and Sussex are two that have pink legs, there are also not many breeds with pink legs and the columbian markings - so given the leg color and feather color - my guess is Buff Sussex or Buff Sussex cross- here is a picture
