unknown day 3 day old chick? help identify

My neighbor found this chic in his garage and noticed that in had two 6 week old chickens and gave it to me. Ive only had for a couple hours and its imprinted on me. Help me identify it.

he found it in the garage where did it come from and it could be a buff or it kinda looks like a RIR but when their that young its hard to say

He has no idea he asked all the other neighbors, he thought it might have been ours. The baby has imprinted on me and wont leave my side.

thats so strange a chick just mysteriously appears in the garage . well just wait and see what it is. no matter what it turns out to be it will be a chicken and will love you.

Its looking like a roo, very late feathers, comb is turning pink at 9 weeks old, scrawny and stands tall... but it is the sweetest chicken ever. It just wants to sit on my arm. It would rather sit with me than eat.

If it is a roo and you are wanting to keep it as a pet you should read the post here about dealing with an ornery roo as it comes into its 'teenage' phase and may get a bit push with you.

A neighbor young man said it was his and he just put in the backyard hoping his other chicken would take care of it... he didn't know what it was. But it looks like a rhode island red. He let us keep it since we were taking good care of it.
