today morning, at around 5:30AM , I started to see that a hen was very eager to go outside and begin her day, as I let the hen out, almost instantly I hear a the hen make a brief sound of discomfort, I quickly look out the window and.. the hen’s gone and there’s a pile of feathers left behind, outside there was around three piles of feathers almost side by side, then I find a circle of feathers next to a tree (far away from the other three piles) with no predator in sight, (predators are extremely rare in my area, and I live on a plain field with a few trees)
I heard no sounds made by any other animals, and the hen didn’t make anymore sounds other than the brief discomforted sound, I am rather confused and curious on what animal did this and how to prevent/ remove them, (around a month ago I encountered a stray cat looking animal like a bobcat , in which ran away when it saw me,) Also my house is surrounded by busy roads on all sides , so most likely the predator is on my lot(I ask for any more information on what may the predator be, ) , sorry for any grammar issues,

Perhaps
I agree, I think it was most likely some bird of prey that got her. :hmm
perhaps, still would be confused about the somewhat “bloody” feathers around a lone tree, I also looked around the area where the last pile of feathers were left and all I saw was a few nests(most likely from crows) and a large tree burrow

You probably have a bird of prey in your area. The hawk could have carried the chicken into the tree to eat it and this could result in the bloody feathers.
On the up side this should help with any mouse problems you have.

Here is a great article on dealing with Hawks:red-tailed-hawk-chicken-predators-how-to-protect-your-chickens-from-hawks

Here are a few good threads on Hawk problems:

Interesting, what actions should I take on the nests ?(the tree is on my lot)

What I would recommend is do nothing to the hawks or their nests. You want the hawks to stick around eating mice, voles, and supporting a healthy ecosystem. You just what to discourage the hawks from attacking your chickens.
There are many ways to do this. I would recommend a combination of methods for the best results.

Did you look up in the tree? 'Big' cats will take carcass up into trees to finish eating.
If you didn't find the body, it's way more likely a four legged pred than a BOP, unless you have large BOP in your area.

Knowing where you live may narrow it down.
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!
