Get those game cams up in case it is a bear cub. We lost our whole coop and 40+ birds in one night to a bear. They're massively destructive and the game commission around here is USELESS.

We're in Armstrong county.

If you can't get the game cam up, sprinkle some flour, or something of that nature, around the coop and look for the tracks. What you describe sounds like a large male coon to me. When I lived in CT., we had a huge male coon that raided trash cans. He had to weigh close to 40 lbs., easily!

That' s a huge racoon! 2 days with the game cameras and nothing. I actually slept with the back deck light off last night and as far as I could tell, nothing disturbed the pen or coop. I will keep checking the cameras though. And thanks for all your help!!
