Unknown Stray

Hi, I was given a stray that was wandering around a housing estate about 7 weeks ago, at most I would say it was 3 or 4 weeks old at the time. Any ideas on breed please.

Female Swedish Flower Hen. Do you have other chickens?

Looks to be a mixed breed. Assuming you're from the UK, I would guess it has some Sussex in it

yes, 3 Brese, 1 Sussex and 16 hybrid egg layers, a mixed flock hopefully the new addition will join them shortly.. It currently lives in my office / the house along with the 2 dogs who totally ignore it unless it is trying to steal their dinner
