Condensed version.
Hatched ONE Salmon Fav chick - don't ask, bator issues. 2 weeks old
Acquired ONE retarded (I'm almost positive .. hehe) silkie hen.
Hen can't live with my flock - they try to kill her.
Chick not thriving (being alone? or bator temp issues?)
Anyway over the last couple of days I tried to work these two in together (In my garage). d'Oprah wasn't at ALL aggressive, but wasn't motherly either. Uno was confused by the new big fluffy black blob hovering around.
Yesterday I put them outside together in the playpen for some sun. When it started to cool off, I ran to put them up because Uno isn't feathered.
Here is what I found:
Uno has a mommy!
