Thanks! Pierre was hatched from a random gifted green egg. There were buff Orp Roos running around, so maybe his Grampaw? We will never know for sure

Whoever wrote this is my soulmate. I almost want to get a Shamo or Asil just to take them for walks or anywhere people take their dogs (meetings at work, on the plane, in restaurants...)

As far as my chicken opinion goes....

A chicken is a million times cuter if it has a comb that is flopped over to one side!!

Anyone else agree?

Floppy comb = likely one copy of the blue egg gene (in my flock)

Young-uns take a while to grow spurs. Pierre’s have been trimmed twice in 5 years
