Unrealistic fear of my rooster

Have you heard of Emotional Freedom Techniques? It involves tapping acupressure points with your fingers. Its very easy to learn and works very quickly in most instances. The website offers a free manual to download or you can search the practioner list for someone in your area--many of them do consultations by phone. www.emofree.com
Good luck to resolving your fear!

Thanks, I went and checked out the website, and went ahead and signed up. I sure hope it helps. I have two hens sitting in the coop and still can't go in to check on them. I guess thats for the better though. lol.

I'd love to see more, Denise will get there, I have no doubt. There was some definate progress betwen the first and second. Though, perhaps the best therapy if it turns out to be just THIS rooster, is to have him for Sunday dinner. You know, with mashed potatoes, a nice salad, maybe dumplings or a nice sour dough. . .

Now, now, before everyone jumps all over me for that. I have tongue firmly in cheek. But really, think about it. Read "Hannibal Rising". He eats the ones who haunt his memories and it was very. . . cathartic. Maybe chicken livers with fava beans and a nice chianti. . . Just a thought.

Yea I already offered to ring his neck - but a good kick does the trick for me -

I find that chickens, well all animals are like teenagers - if you lecture them enough they will not listen - but a good swift kick on the ass makes them sit up and listen every time. Ha HA....
