After a long g (too long) break we're back in the bird craze. Not completely my fault. I used to be registered as 5 acre rooster, but that was years ago and don't think I even use that email anymore. Anyway when we decided to move and renovate to help my elderly FIL I mentioned birds.... no wife said.
Then fresh eggs were brought up...... I was thinking 10-15 layers...... I was TOLD I was getting 50 layers...... so back into the chicken math I go.
 
Math is funny, we were discussing this and I went 100 straight run RIR , with store meat getting hard to find we'll fill the freezer some. And since we bought from MtHealthy we getting 50 free (DISCOUNT) chicks. So my 10-15 went to 50, then 100 and finally 150..... and I haven't even started hatching yet. (Which I became obsessed with in the past... or I liked to dabble let say)
