unsuccessful in uploading chicken video to uTube & then to BYC

I took a video, an .AVI format. It's of the hens taking a Saturday night dust bath in the coop. To put it on here, I think I have to put it on uTube first?? uTube had a problem with the format although their list of formats they accept includes .AVI. Tips welcome.

Try again. And if that doesn't work, you can convert it using a free online media converter and then upload it. Then post the YouTube link to BYC and it will take people to the video when they click the link.

Sometimes youtube has technical difficulties. When I get an error message I try again later.

Open it in windows movie maker an then save it as a .wmv

Thanks, y'all. It took about 15 minutes, and then youtube finally uploaded the .avi file.
