Unsure of breed

Hi Everyone.



We got these two 'chickadees' just prior to Christmas last year and they have just started laying their first eggs

. These two are my husband and I first ever chickens and we bought them without knowing what breed they are. Can anyone help me with knowing what we have.

The white one might be a Plymouth rock but I'm not positive. They are both nice looking hens!

. We had a feeling that Mabel (White girl) might be a Plymouth rock but we wasn't quite sure. They are beautiful girls (I am bias!) and the most wonderful members to our family.

Your dark girl is a Black Sex Link, AKA Black Star.

Your white girl could be one of several breeds, but it's hard to tell from that shot. Can you get a side shot, and one that clearly shows the comb?

Thanks WalkingOnSunshine we had no idea what Audrey (black girl) was

. I'll post a better photo of them both tomorrow as it is currently 10:30pm here at the moment and they are all snuggled up for the night! I've never heard of a Black Sex Link before so i might start researching.
