Ah okay wasn't sure whether they were or not. I do believe it is either cochin or brahma. Or maybe one parent was a brahma mix that carried the single comb gene?

It's the feathered feet that make me think brahma or cochin.

A brahma mix could be it, but then the other parent couldn't be EE either, unless that EE had a single comb too. They usually have pea combs from an ameraucana parent.

He may be a mix of mixes. I don't think it's possible to say for sure with this guy unless we have more information about the parents. He could be anything. To me, he looks most like a Brahma in type, but who really knows?

He does look very brahma shaped, but I can't see how he could get a single comb through brahma. He couldn't have a brahma cross for one parent because that cross would have a pea comb.

Yes but the cross could carry the gene for a single comb.
