Although I do realize there is a forum set up for questions like "what do I have?" I felt the Guinea Forum would be a much better fit as people in the Guinea forum might be better suited to answer the question directly.

I got some Guineas from a small, local hatchery. They were a week old when we picked them up. I didn't get a very good chance to see their down because of this. Had I seen the down I would feel a bit more certain than I currently do. So I have come seeking assurance.

My past experience with Guineas was with Pearl and Lavender. 3 of them are Pearl and 2 are Lavender, 100% sure. But two are of a color pattern I've never dealt with. They had(keep in mind I bought them after they feathered out a bit) tan-ish heads, still somewhat do. With lighter colored bellies and grey wings. I've checked out pictures on various websites to determine what color they will end up, but all I can find are pictures of day old chicks with their down more prevalent.

At first I thought Pewter, but I saw there are a couple other colors which appear similar to Pewter as chicks.

edit- I guess I should add, they do not seem to be dotting. But from what I understand striped head=presence of dots, solid=no dots. Is that true?

It's hard to tell from your pics but the keet (or keets) with the solid head/no head stripes look like Violet to me. They feather in grey at first with some remaining juvenile brown feathers, then darkening with each molt and finally developing a pretty iridescent sheen when they mature. You rare correct, they will have no pearling.

Typically keets with solid head markings equates to no pearling when the Guinea matures, but some fully-pearled keets that are also Pied will hatch with solid down and it can get confusing to correctly ID some of them, depending on the color. (Sometimes any variety/color of Pied keets can be difficult to ID if they are heavily Pied and you can't see much of their head markings).

Squiggly/brokenhead markings means the keets will mature to be partially-pearled

A very wide center head stripe outlined with a couple sets of narrow stripes means the keets will mature fully-pearled.
