Unsure on when to put my eggs into lockdown.

Just a quick update for everyone, I put my eggs into lockdown a couple of hours ago (UK Time). Their air pockets look great and everything is going to plan so far. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I will keep you all posted :)

Good luck!

Hi guys, I’ve just been woken up By a little chick that has just hatched. I’m concerned that he is banging all the eggs all over my incubator. Any suggestions
If you have your brooder set up you could quickly move him over to the brooder. I usually wait until they are walking before doing that. Most people say to wait until they're fulffy but I haven't had any problems moving them while they're still a little wet.

just be careful you don't want to loose your humidity. depending on how yours opens you could drape a damp towel over the edge of the incu to cover the holes when it opens.

It'll be OK...they are like drunken sailors at first, between naps.
Get your brooder ready for when you have a couple dry ones...
....I like to move a couple at a time so you don't have lonely singles.
