"Hm? Oh, that is Daruk. He is very nice." He looked at the scared peahen, "Would you like to talk to him?"

"Daruk! Come here!" Tahir called the hawk over.

"How may I be of service?" Daruk asked kindly as he flew over.

"Daruk, meet Pura. She is the new healer." Tahir indicated the peahen. "Pura, this is Daruk, the hunter."

"Nice to meet you, ma'am." Daruk smiled.
