update,11 hatched in all (added pics)

after finally understanding the importance and obeying lockdown, i have 7 hatched so far today.
more have pipped.
but now the already hatched chicks are acting like it is party time. they are banging and rolling the other eggs around

if you aren't suppose to open the bator, what do you do about this issue?

also, how long to leave the newly hatched chicks in the bator before they have to come out?

They will be fine. Do not open the bator. Chicks can go without food or water for 48 hours. But, the others should hatch before then.

I have the exact same thing going on! I only have two hatched and 8 to go -- the two that are hatched keep disturbing the other eggs...

well, i broke down. had to open the bator.
i did it quickly and grabbed that the shell had split open on. i had not seen movement from this egg in a very long time. i looked inside a bit and the chick was dead. i was afraid this would happen to the other eggs that had pipped, so i grabbed the other 4 pipped eggs and assisted their hatch. they are all doing fine this morning! so 7 hatched on their own, 4 assisted and doing well, about 12 eggs left. can't see any pips. i left the chicks with the eggs until this morning. they were getting so wild that i went ahead and removed the chicks from the rest of the eggs. i will probably leave the eggs on the rest of the day at least.

not the most successful hatch, but better than my previous attempts!
