The girls aren't eating but drinking. Is this ok?

Oh, sorry to hear that. Usually, even when it's a holiday, the distribution centers are open and often you can pick up your order from there, especially if it involves live animals. But, it may mean a drive in your case.
Contact Metzers and inform them of the situation. They may send replacements. If possible, see if you can make arrangements to pick them up at the closest distribution center or have someone else pick them up.
It's so sad to lose a little baby duckling.

GeneJoran, Thank you. It is hard. We have been waiting for weeks for these ducklings. The girls are struggling, but hopefully they will make it. There is a lot to be learned about life and death, and of course, death is the hardest. Yuk!

Call Metzer and let them know about the problem you have. They will take care of you. Make sure you put electrolytes into the drinking water. It reduces the stress. They are fighting hypothermia and I hope they will make it.

We are waiting for the 24hrs to pass before I let them know if there are any other replacements that they need to send. I hope there is not. In any event, I am thinking about driving the 8hr round trip to phoenix myself to pick them up. That way they won't miss the delivery truck. It only comes here once.

The bands on their legs are really bothering one of them. Should I wait until they are not so stressed to take them off?

Take the rings off. They are only there to identify the breed and sex, and should be removed.

O.K., now I am feeling really bad and all the self doubt is setting in
I was giving the drake some water with a tiny syringe because he wouldn't drink any other way. I didn't drown him did I. He would swallow sometimes and others it would drip out. I know, I should just stop doubting.
One more thing, actually I will probably be asking a lot of questions
they are very wobbly, is this normal for 3day olds? Do ducks usually with their heads flat on the ground?
