This EE is really "off" yesterday and today... He's laying down every chance he gets, and not jumping up on the roosts like he normally does... He still walks fine when he "has" to, but stops ASAP, lowers his tail and then lays down... I saw him eating and drinking. He feels skinny. No visible parasites at all (permethrin treated a week ago when coopmate had a couple lice). His poop looks okay I think? And his comb too... Let's see if I can figure out how to post a video. I have to upload it to YouTube I think I remember?

Honestly... He's absolutely a boy, right? I think I might just cull him so I can stop thinking about it? 🙈

Im not sure if “he” is actually a he (maybe he is I don’t know very much about EE’s). The reason he could be getting thin is in the first video I noticed everyone picking in him, that could be stopping him from getting food. And if he is actually a girl then he will be sitting everywhere when he’s getting ready to lay. Hope this helps :)

How old is he? Can you place him in a dog crate with his own food and water so that he can eat and drink. He may be getting kept from food and water by other cockerels. If you have some vitamins or Poultry NutriDrench I would give some.

He's 13 weeks today. He's no pushover though, he's usually the one I see doing the bullying ☺️. Just now when I was checking on him he pushed my head rooster out of the way because he wanted that particular water nipple 😜. He looks feisty when he's up and around, put then he just keeps popping back down! I found him laying in the nesting box too. This leg thing aaaaalways makes me nervous:

Every once in a while he stretches out his neck like maybe he's trying to do a crop adjustment?!?

Well I would keep an eye on him, making sure that he is eating well. Some B complex vitamins can be used in the feed or in his treats to give him a boost in case of a deficiency. Minerals are also important. Does he get a balanced chicken feed?

Yep, grower feed for everybody ☺️ maybe he bullied his way to too many treats! 🤣. They're free ranging right now and he's keeping up with everyone, so 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️. I had chicks with a B deficiency riiiight at the beginning of my chicken journey, and thought for sure I had Marek's right off the bat 💙🙈🤣

I can't explain what's happening, but I'm eager to see if we can figure this out because I have a hen who's doing the same thing except a little more severe right now.

Uhoh. Forgot to post this earlier... He was pretty happy to be out free ranging with his buddies this afternoon, and I was starting to think maybe it was a leg issue, since he was just taking breaks every once in a while, but still foraging happily... But then he dropped this:
Too foamy to be fecal, isn't it?
