I tried the ointment, and it literally slid right down off of it. wouldnt stick. Just been putting saline on it.

Try putting the ointment tube in warm water to soften it up, then apply it.

Welcome to BYC.

I looked at combining them, but I think it's best to keep them separate. The other thread seems to be more about the predator attack, while this one is about treating wounds.
