Update~ HATCH IS DONE! :-) Bators are loaded Again -

UPDATED:

Can't believe I've filled the bators again, Just hatched Silkies and bantom cochins 2 weeks ago... oh well, in 3 wks we'll have

Saturday was day 21 and Our ne babies are here:

Hatch Results: Out of 12 Serama eggs - 9 babies ( 3 just blood rings)
18 Americana - 17 babies (1 never hatched, died)
6 Bantam Araucana - 6 babies
4 bantam cochins (my test eggs) - 4 hatched

So out of 40 eggs, 36 hatched.. That really good, the Serama, Americana and Bantam Araucana eggs came from a poultry sale...

This Saturday is hatch date again..

) I just put in 6 buttercups and 6 speckled sussexs myself. I also have 6 - 6 week olds and 2 8 week olds living in my basement. I'm hoping to move them into the juvenile shed next week when it warms up - with a heat lamp of course. Good luck on your hatch.
 
Thank Heidi.. I really enjoy hatching chicks, kids do too. The heavy mix will be fun, trying to figure out what they are..

Also got 5 runner ducks.. they are so cute....

I got my cochin from poultry sale.. I have mollted, blue and partridge bantams... I have not sept them by colors yet.. just did a test hatch w/ these and I have some more of my own that will hatch this sat...

Got mollted from this hatch....
 
Thatz a great hatch rate! So by "poultry sale" do you mean an auction? (just curious, because poultry auctions are all we have around here.
 
Yes, it's an auction... I really enjoy going to them... There's another one next saturday, going to it...
