OMG - You are close! I definitely need to rehome them. I am in the city, and already attracting attention for the fact that I have an adult roo, and twice the number of hens allowed...

I would LOVE to give them to a good home, that won't eat them. The blue one is an easter egger, but without the puffy cheeks. His new tail feathers are even showing a hint of irridescent green. His name is Bertie Rooster (a Wodehouse reference, which, if you understand, you'll be my new best friend)

Oh no. Don't encourage me. lol. I already have a full grown EE rooster in with all my EE hens. And also a younger one which I just couldn't get rid of. Got to love my EE's.

I have lots of hens, and lots of area. But sheesh. I really don't need another rooster. I told myself that when I rehomed my young ones a few months ago. hmm. Would you be willing to drive here? Or will I need to go pick him up?

Gah. I must talk to my family about getting him. I am in love. lol

tee hee. Yeah, I'd drive. Especially if you have a farm. My friend's son LOVES field trips to farms...

If I had my way, I'd be an EE snob. They are the BEST breed.
Talk to the fam, and get back to me

Oh gosh your just making it harder and harder. lol

I will try to talk to Family tonight. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner, we are just really busy and I keep forgetting.

I sure do have a farm. And I just had some baby goats born two days ago.

He sure is a beauty. How old is he again?

I'm estimating 11-12 weeks old right now. He seemed to be about 4-5 weeks when he was dropped off at my place on the first day of June.
...I'm gearing up for a farm field trip!!

Hope the family verdict is positive!

Well I mentioned it to them. I am getting heart surgery soon, and they think I don't need more animals to worry about. Because we are going to have to have someone feed our 100+ pets for a few weeks.

Continue looking for a home for him. If he is still avalible in Sept. I will see if I am feeling well enough to take on another animal.

I am soo sorry. I do love him. And would love to have him. But due to life issues right now, I feel they are right. Now is not a good time to get another bird.

I hope you find a nice looking home for him, he is a beauty.
