UPDATE How our House chicken deals with snow

Yes, how did you potty train her? I keep telling my husband I am going to bring the girls inside, just not sure about the poop issue. I have to say, just seeing her in front of the fire warms my heart

OMG that is unreal! What a great early morning laff for me. Sorry about your snow...

we had a foot last week, and for 3 days my girls and boys didn't come out of their coops. And when they did it was funny to see them fly a foot at a time to get around.

I can't take any credit for potty training. She appeared pre-programmed that way when we found her. She seems to know pooping on anyone is not a nice thing to do and she can "hold it" through a full length movie. When nature is calling she'll ruffle up or pipe up and try to get to the door or off whoever she is snuggled up to. Really

we open the front door she flys down the steps, does her business and runs back in the house.

She has done some therapy work with older folks as well since she has such good manners.

I have seen a video or two on youtube about potty training your chicken. They are way smarter than we give them credit (for the most part).
