Update I Found My Sweet Little Wood Duck!!!!!

She decided she didnt want anyone snooping

i guess she has a nest under my travel trailer, lol i went out to rake some leaves and i heard hissing at first i thought SNAKE

so i backed away the hissing stopped

when i went near the area again the hissing started again so i bent down and took a realy quick look

and there she was sitting on a nest

hopefully ill have some baby duckies

so at least shes ok im so relieved

That's great! But, it's unusual for wood ducks to nest on the ground, they usually nest in trees, I thought.

Someone once told me that the ducklings have to fall or their appetite won't be stimulated. He/she said that they just pick them up and drop them.
