Wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all who advised me on what to do w/Nugget & her respiratory ailment.
Regretfully, she passed this morning, in a violent rage to catch her breath, which she was unable to do.
I am very upset w/my hubby, w/GOD, & w/myself, for being so self-absorbed & selfish. I feel shitty for making her suffer the way she did, then die in such a horrible way. Had I known she would not pull through, I would have asked local vet, to put her to sleep.
She was the sweetest & most docile chicken I've ever seen. She didn't mind being held & petted, unlike the others. I will miss her very much!
Lessons we learn the most from, are the ones that impact us the hardest. This was a very, hard, hard lesson learned.
