I have a question about your kitchen. You have an island and a bar. Are they attached to each other or seperate? The pic of the bar makes them look like one unit, but in the pic of the island they look like two different pieces.

I love all the natural light in your house. You have very nice taste

The island and the bar have 4 feet between them as well as the island and the kitchen sink counter

Absolutely gorgeous!! ALL OF IT!!! I'm in complete awe of your grounds. That creek looks like it has always been there. How old is your home now? I ask only because it has that wonderful aire about it that feels like it has been there forever. That can only come from either time, or a LOT of very hard work!! Absolutely stellar and stunning!!

Seriously, have you ever considered submitting photos of your incredible home to either Sunset or Better Homes and Gardens? This truly belongs in the "House of the Month" spread of either venerable publication!! You'd certainly get MY vote!!!

Hi Serrin and Fowler_chick, We moved into our home almost nine years ago and as far as the kitchen goes my husband drew and built our home. We decorated it ourselves.

no plans to finish the basement right now. The kids ride their bikes in there an rainy days. As far as the bar our kitchen counter works just great for now. We've had many a long night hanging out in the kitchen "bar" with friends. Someday we will have a bar in the basement
