Just an update for those who care....
Chicken is at my house, they came over frantic he has been injured by the Rooster. He is bleeding and cannot walk. Scared to death. We saw it coming hence the reason for the thread.
We have some antibiotics from the feed store, using math just tried to estimate how much to give her but who knows if she will live.
They were on our shared fence because our neighbors were not aware chickens fly upward to Roost. Their 10x10 area was not
covered and we have predators. So I put them to bed in our coop then went to Bible Study. No one was home or I would have
phoned. Like I said, our Pastor is not an animal lover but as it is, I can see they feel really bad for not listening to us.
We have experience with this- Our walk in coop is attached to an area the same size and our Rooster and Hens were only together in the morning a few hrs to avoid me having to wake up at the crack of dawn to let them out. Well two hours was too much and our Rooster killed our hen, this happened about 6 months ago. I could see it in this Roosters eye something was gonna give....
Anyhow I appreciate everyone who attempted to help in a positive manner.
Blessings to you all, thanks again for your posts
