If anyone remembers that i thought i had a bad mumma duck, well turns out that she didnt have a nest after all, she was just sitting on the same nest as my lovely Jemima(named after Jemima puddle duck) she is the one with the ducklings in my pics. The little brown mallard was killing Jemima's ducklings not her own as i thought. Seems little brown is now sitting on her own nest, im not exactly sure where it is but she only comes out for food in the evening and early morning. Jemimas ducklings are doing great and my drake is very gentle with them and is happy to have at least one of his ducks back to cuddle as the duckling are now too big to sit under her. Im just soooo happy, I love ducks they are just the best ever!!!!!
