So I’ve been keeping Daisy in our little coop for our bantams, I only opened it last night to let the bantams go in. I may have left for only an hour and by the time I got back, wobbly, tired, and sick little Daisy had managed her way out of the little coop, up our ramp into the big coop, and all the way over to her mate.
Where I found her snuggled up next to him.
This morning she was still alive (thank goodness) when I opened the coop, and when she started to come out she flopped off the ramp. I picked her up and stuck her in the little coop.
She has more of an appetite today, and is drinking much more. Today is day 3 of treating her with wormer and day 2 of treating her water with Corid (for Coccidia)
Maybe it’s Niacin deficiency, I tried gives her peas but she wouldn’t eat them….so nutritional yeast it is. She is still pale, still tired acting, and very wobbly and sometimes flops over.
I’m going to get to the bottom of this one way or another.
Just wanted to give and update and will post more later.
