You will want to get them something that they can stick their head and nostrils in as Lombardo posted above or a container with a lid and the lid cut just enough for their head. Or a milk jug with an opening cut out for their head. The type of waterer you are using is good for chicks and chickens, but not for ducks.
I started with a container (which grew to two to three) and also now I have a milk jug with a hole cut out so that they can stick their nares in.
