Update on ducks!

Hi!
So I think I’ve finally made my mind up lol. I’ve decided to add some girls to Winston (he’s getting better everyday! Even started to like having a bit of a fuss )
I’ve found some appleyards which are large so hopefully they can withstand his chunky ness lol I’m going to look at Thursday!
I’m hoping to get 4 and maybe add some aylesburys later on when I find some available bit hoping four girls will be ok for now.
I’m just wondering if I’m ok to just put them in the run with him and that’s that? That’s what we always did with our chickens and it seemed to go ok?

I've not been able to get rid of one duck yet - but we need to find homes for some of our boys so that time is approaching for us too. We keep a section just for batchelors.

Did you say he's going to a friend or back to the bod who you got him from ?

Yeah he’s going to the friend I got them off in the first place. I’ve just got used to having him around lol
