Original post: Thread '6 month old hen not walking, sudden onset with no apparent injury' https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...sudden-onset-with-no-apparent-injury.1551065/

The video shows its definitely her left leg. She has pain behind the 'knee/ankle' joint. She has been with her flock for about a week. She does well in the run but has to be manually put into the coop where I've made a 'drawer' for her. **she can't go up the ramp, hop up onto the roosts, or balance to stay on one.

I dont know what to do. She's still getting the B Complex vitamin, getting a little bit of time in the sling (I work full time so she gets as much time as I can give her) and is eating and drinking just fine. I have to admit, I'm tired 😫 it's taking alot out of me to be home at a specific time every evening to put her up. I also worry that she's not going to be warm enough being alone. The temperature is starting to drop here in Central Texas.

Oh, and another thing, she can't scratch her face on a normal basis and has tiny white crusties around the corner of her break. I scratch it for her with a toothbrush and she in hot heaven lol

I'm sorry to hear she's not improving :hugs

I glanced at your other thread and agree, that she may be suffering from an avian virus. Marek's or Lymphoid Leucosis are the 2 possibilities.

I'm not sure what else you can do at this point. I'm sure it's exhausting taking care of her too.
Is there a way to modify your ramp so she can get inside the coop by herself? This may take some stress off you?
