JUST FOR REFERENCE!
Today one of my bantam roosters mounted Fluffy(the white silkie). When it comes to Fuzzy he looks at him funny. We are assuming that Fluffy is a girl. (I highly doubt the rooster would get confused... I could be wrong) And because Fuzzy has a silky, shiny, neck and the roosters are avoiding it means Fuzzy is a boy.

Ok. Here they are again. Fuzzy and Fluffy.... I normally post Fuzzy with Cowboy, but very sadly, he was killed by a chicken hawk. Even more sad was he was trying to protect one of the other birds.

Anyway, so after that horrible incident, we were looking over the flock and decided to try to figure the sex on these two. I have thought Fuzzy was a boy since we got him. I have thought Fluffy was a girl since we got her. Only now, as most people are with silkies, we have no idea. Sorry if our hands are in they way. They would not be still otherwise...

Fuzzy is about 10 weeks old and Fluffy is about 8 weeks old.

Edit to change name from Puffy to Fluffy. Apparently my 3 year old had already named her.

Thanks! So many of my chicks have had me confused! They are finally to the point where I have figured out most of them, it has really just been these 2! My 3 year old says Fuzzy is a boy and Puffy is a girl. Other than what she says and what I think they are, we are lost. I am so glad I have silkies, though. They are great pets!
