On the 19th of July, I had a Barred Rock Hen started acting funny and could barely walk. After all the comments from everyone, I did determine that she was definitely eggbound. Well, she did pass a large egg a few days later, but it is now the 6th of August and she still walks funny. I am wondering if maybe while she was eggbound, if the egg might have been pressing against a nerve for so long that there may now be permanent nerve damage and she might never walk normal again. She still gets around good enough, can still get in and out of the coop, is still eating, talking, and laying. She just walks funny! Any thoughts?
