Update on my chicks from Sandhill

Bearded chick, that Fav girl of yours is pretty colored but incorrect breast color, she should not have any black ticking thru her chest area and throat area at all.

This bantam is from Catalupa Farms, she is a blue salmon bantam.

A friend and I ordered Mahogany Fav and Salmon Fav and we both were very disappointed in the quality of the birds themselves. Some had crooked toes, incorrect colors (more wild and more black ticking in light areas) and failure to thrive that we lost more than half of the 25 we got.

The first time around, I was pleased but many of them didnt survive to adulthood. The second time around, I was disappointed as heck(story above) and never again, I will order from Sandhill!

Sandhill used to be a good souce of hatchery for rare birds but not anymore! Its pathetic!
