Update on my sick roo - photo and question

My rooster has been sick for a week now.

It started mainly with him just not acting right. Standing away from the girls, head and tail down. I brought him in and cared for him inside. I've started Tylan and I've wormed him.

He's just getting worse. Now he's sleeping all the time unless I wake him. He will accept water if I hold it up to his beak.

Today while checking him over I noticed that the back of his neck looks odd. It's scaly and he has a hard lump.

He's been dusted with DE.

Is this mites?

The lump is the width of my fingers in this photo and runs up the entire back of his neck. His skin doesn't look like this anywhere else on his body.
