Well I changed the bedding from alfalfa back to shavings and put topical benadryl on the spotsand he seems so much better today. I think he was bitten or allergic to something. They are pine shavings. He was in them for 4 weeks doing fine, then we had a power outage wednesday and I put him in alfalfa, and he also escaped and possible flew into the brooder light because I found him in the baby pen. But a couple of his toes are swollen. So, maybe he was poisoned by a spider.
