I hope all your traps work.For the flour you can put it on a board with a box over it.Hole to get in and food in the corner so they have to go through the flour.

Still nothing and the bait was gone AGAIN! I only set the new smaller havahart last night. The weasel food lure was still on the trip plate but the wad of cat food I had hung on the coat hanger was missing. This time the door was closed so the trap worked, it just got out. Since I saw the mole dart in there yesterday, I think that's what set it off. I just re-baited it, using only the weasel lure, and set it on the other side of my deck. Hopefully far away enough from the moles

With this smaller trap, if a weasel gets in, it won't get out.

Mattemma, good idea about the flour. We've got some snow now so that will help too.

Thanks!! Nope...nothing new to report. I think it's probably been too cold here and it's hibernating; who knows. Bait keeps freezing and we have snow so I can't put the flour down. Haven't seen any tracks in the snow except for rabbits. It's supposed to be in the 40's here on Friday so I'll rebait then and hope for the best!

That's great info - and I enjoyed the pics! Thanks! I will definitely try to bait the bigger trap and tie it like you showed (it's just like mine). I just hung it on a piece of coat hanger but it didn't trip the trap. Your ideas make perfect sense.
