*UPDATE PAGE 3 Pics- Geting a little coop - Whatcha think?

My very sweet hubby and uncle are building me a coop. Here's some pictures - it's not finished yet. It's small - about 6.5' x 6.5' but there is only six of them and after living a a dog igloo, they will think they're in the white house! The windows fold from the inside - they will have hardware cloth over them so they can be open in warm weather to make it cooler. Oh, and we haven't cut the chicken door yet. Whatcha think so far?

I thought about painting it red, but hubby said we ought to just put a sealer on it then siding....so I'm not quite sure which way we'll go yet.

What do I think? I think you'd better get some good cookin' going on and very good desserts for those wonderful men in your family
I like to "stagger" my perches so none of the birds poop on each other while roosting. I also like the nesting boxes in a darker area so no one is tempted to peck at or eat eggs

I think your spoiling your chickens, have you considered putting the chickens back in the igloo and renting that apartment out???

I notice the chickens already putting in dibs for the window seats in the FRONT picture
