Hi everyone. I'm so sorry I haven't gotten back to y'all regarding my leghorn that had EYP. I decided to give her one more day to see if she was going to pull herself out of it. I really didn't hold much hope after reading all the great info Kikigirls gave me. (Thank you so much). Everyone was so helpful! Sometimes you just have to go with your gut feelings because
SHE'S DOING JUST FINE NOW!
*whew* I'm telling you it was a close call. She was really sick but the next morning, she was bright, loud, busy and bossy. She's started laying her daily eggs again too. I've been SMH ever since. Mind you I'm keeping a close eye on her. I think something like EYP can rear it's ugly head again but so far she's doing fine.
I'm so grateful to everyone for the wonderful help I got. I was panicking because I truly didn't know what to do. Then kind of lost hope once you guys showed me what it was.
I'm truly grateful.
