UPDATE to "Easter Egger not laying. WHY?" 1st EGG Today!!!

I have an Easter Egger,Lucy, that is almost 8 months old. All of the other hens (except for my one Silkie) are laying, including the two other Easter Eggers (Ethel & Esther), which were all hatched and delivered together in July. I expeced the Silkie not to be laying for a while, but why do you think Lucy isn't giving up the goods? I'm perplexed. Is it ever the case that a hen won't lay at all? Thanks for your input!

Lucy is the hen closest to the camera in this photo and pic was taken at 7 weeks old.

How funny. I have two easter eggers named Lucy and Ethel two. Lucy has been laying for two months. Ethem has yet to lay a single egg. They are 8 months old.
