UPDATE: with photo: Is 25 days really max?

Development looks right. Did u happen to see any movement. Its hard to see in a light room. A dark room helps.

I suggest a safety hole and wait a few hours to see if anything happens. Especially if you saw moement

I'm glad development looks right, I will try again tonight when my kids go to sleep. It will be darker then. I didn't see any movement but I didn't really see anything. Shouldn't you only do a safety hole if you hear something?

UPDATE-

First sign of a pip, I haven't done a safety hole yet but I was planning on maybe trying that tonight. Look at the inner white membrane!!

What should I expect.... within how many hours should I see progress? It's day 22 or 23 depending on the egg. I put some that were laid on the 18th and 19th in there and I marked them but I can't see through the observation window

It can take from a few hours to 24 hours or more.. patience is key.
You will eventually see the chick start to zip, breaking the shell clear around then it will push its way out.. normally at this point the chck is still absorbing the yolk.. it takes time and energy to get out of that shell...

Be prepared to look in the incubator evey few minutes now.. just saying thats what will be happening.. at least thats what I do. And most of the others who hatch..

White is normal. It turns brown or yellow if it gets dried out.

Give it a full 24 hours from when you first noticed the pip before you start worrying. It looks good.

What is the humidity? I put mine around 75% during lock-down. My incubation humidity is usually around 35%, but that is what has worked best for me and my climate. When the chicks hatch the humidity will go up but not to worry as they dry it will come down. I actually made dry boxes so as a few hatch I retrieve them from the hatcher and put them in the dry box. The humidity will drop when I open the hatcher so I usually mist the eggs with warm water which helps bring the humidity back up quicker to help chicks from getting stuck in their shells. I have made the mistake of marking the wrong date on the calendar and I had chicks hatching in the incubator. All ended well. Good luck and have fun...
I use a 15 watt incandescent bulb in a light kit I put in the boxes as a heat source.
