Update.
Her foot is swollen more. I’m not sure if what I’m doing is aggravating it more so I’m going to leave it alone today. Still would like to know if it’s a broken toe, bumble foot, or some other infection. Thoughts…

My vet recently prescribed Enrofloxacin 22.7 mg for 14 days for my duck with an infected toe. When I was reading how long of an egg withdrawal it had, it said you shouldn’t consume eggs from any poultry that had been treated with this antibiotic.
I have 3 ducks and cannot tell their eggs apart. I know to discard the eggs during treatment, but can I eat them 2 weeks after treatment or should I never eat them/ use them as the articles I have found suggested?

Your best bet would be taking it to a vet. Otherwise I might just leave it be and see how it goes. With no obvious wounds it's hard to guess what's going on.

No vet around that sees ducks. I called the vet that I take my dog to and she gave me Enrofloxacin ( baytril). I gave my duck 1 dose and was looking up the egg withdrawal period. What I’ve read is you can’t ever eat their eggs again?

I think most of us have given many meds including Baytril to our ducks at times when needed and used their eggs afterward. With no adverse reactions. looking at her toe is there a place where there is a tiny scar? Just wondering if something maybe in there?

I have looked and felt and can’t find anything. I’ve left it alone for a couple days and it seems like she maybe, the times I’ve watched her, is putting a little more weight in it. It definitely doesn’t look any worse.
