All injectable penicillin has procaine in it,It says it's Penn G procaine. Procaine is bad for birds, right? I can't find another penicillin injectable without it. Am I missing it? Ugh!
The info I have says the turkey dose is 100 mg/kg every 24-48 hours. That works out to 0.15 ml per pound. This is the best I can do for you on meds. mhttps://sites.google.com/a/poultrypedia.com/poultrypedia/medicine-chart

Yes, injectable penicillin and oxytetracycline are still OTC.Thank you both so much! I did a little research and it looks like injectable antibiotics are still allowed OTC so I'm going to run by Tractor after my son's trumpet lesson and pick some up. My only other question (after some research) is should I inject into her bump or intramuscular? I've seen where both would work. I'll need to weigh her because I can't even guesstimate on what she weighs. The flu has fried my brain.
