**updated** early hatch... 7 out!!!

My 'bator is dowstairs in the basement, through the laundry room & around the corner. I am getting a workout running the stairs to check my incubator.
AND the laundry room has never been so tidy!

Well, as of right now, there are 15 pips, one is zipping and one is out and drying. I'm so excited.

I used the dry incubation method this time, and so far, it seems like I'm having wonderful results, even if the hatch is a bit early.

I'll post a pic as soon as the first one out navigates out of the corner where it's almost impossible to see.

Wow, I walked away to get my husband ready for work, and now there are 7 out!!

One isn't looking real good, but it's probably just exhausted.

So far, everyone has yellow legs, or black, so no EE's yet. My EE eggs haven't hatched yet, but 3 of the 4 are pipped. I was hoping our old EE roo had sired a few, since he's gone now. I'll keep my fingers crossed, there's still 23 eggs to hatch.

I'll get pics up as soon as I can. It's impossible to get a good inside pic with the LG 'bator I'm using.

The brooder is fired up and almost up to temp.

C'mon chickies!!

Good for you!! I sure wish mine would hatch that fast! I get one, then when it's dry another will pop out, and so on. Have fun with those babies!!

I've got 2 EE roos with bright yellow legs. 100% certain they're EEs too. So, you never know... Good luck with your hatch!! Day 18 is tomorrow for me.
