Updated Ordinance needed in Gypsum, Colorado!

Hello Colorado Chicken Lovers,

I live in Gypsum, Colorado and a group of chicken lovers and I are trying to work with the Town of Gypsum to update the current ordinance so that more people in town can have "legal" chickens. The current ordinance was written years ago and is written so not a lot of people can keep "legal" hens. Our lots are too small and the homes too big for many homes to be able to have backyard chickens.

Please let me know if you have any advice or would like to help us for a good cause! We are on the town council meeting agenda on September 13th.

I have had to move my 6 barely laying hens to a different town until we get this ordinance updated. We are super sad about that, but know it's for a good cause...
