UPDATED PICS 10wks::: Say it ain't so...(a.k.a. I think this is a cockerel) 😭

any olive egger or easter egger ive had that turned out to be pullets pinked up early making me also think they were cockerels.
the olive eggers i had were. But the easter eggers with rose combs were pullets
Some EE/OE pullets do tend to pink up early, but their wattles don’t start to grow (in this instance, the chick in the first photo’s wattles are starting to hang).

At 6 weeks, that’s a lot of color and even some wattle on both. The chick in the first 3 photos I believe is a cockerel. The other chick could go either way but i am also thinking cockerel :(

The first one is almost certainly a cockerel, the second one is likely a cockerel as well, but I am on the fence. They have some awfully pink combs for 6 weeks

Yes, they both do look pretty red/pink on their faces already. Too red to be an early maturing hen, because they don't mature that early.

Thanks everyone. I was trying to prepare myself for one rooster, but not TWO....🤯 They sent me 10 chicks (I ordered 9, and lost one CCL) and if 2 end up boys, that's super disappointing. 😔

Ok they are nearly 10 weeks old now. Are we still leaning cockerel on either or both of these? They were both fairly pink in the comb at 6 weeks, but neither of them has gotten any pinker (in fact, at times, the "pinkness" almost goes away, depending on the lighting, etc., and even my sex-link and autosex pullets are getting some pink in the face occasionally). No crowing as of yet.

What thinkest thou now?
