Yay! She is such a sweet girl. As you can see in the picture, I have her in with some younger chicks and she is so sweet to them.
My husband's chickens (barred rocks) that he got with these all died and Rudy was the only survivor. We had to put her with younger chicks or older chicks so she wouldn't be alone and she does not peck at the young ones at all. I have since talked my husband into letting me have this one, so she is "mine." (That means she won't be used for breeding or selling. My personal chickens are purely pets and have their own separate pen.)
