Had a feeling since birth it was a boy then convinced it was a girl now possibly a boy again. There are bronze feathers on the wings and the bronze at the based of the tail just might be saddle feathers. Thoughs?

My guess is that its a hen but I am no expert at this!! I'm sure there will be someone much more knowledgeable then me to help!!

can you please help me see why this is a male I am really trying to get better at this!! Just when I think I get it I don't LOL Thanks!
I suck at this so no I cannot really explain why other than his red shoulder area, thicker legs and overall size compared to the hens next to him.

Thanks anyway! I was going off the feathers and I don't see the more pointy saddle feathers but I am really bad at this!!!! Still trying to learn

The bronze on his wings and feather pattern is splotchy instead of evenly distributed. Leg thickness, emerging tiny saddle feathers
Thank you!!! I am going to go look again using what you have said, really trying to learn to spot the differences!
