I got this little darling as an extra from Sand Hill Preservation. I have NO IDEA what she it other than I am certain it is a pullet. I was looking at the Cubalayas but she doesn't seem to have the light buff coming in like I would think she should if that is what she is. Krienkoppe? OEG, but how about the leg color?
She has a pea comb for certain.

Yet, more pictures...
She has a dark/slate wash coming in down the front of her shanks...
There is just a little bit of copper coloring on the front of her neck.
I am beginning to wonder about a Chocolate OEG or what does the Spangled OEG look like?
She is just about the same size as the Jaerhons and Minorcas that she is in with, just slightly smaller.
The wings are growing in a downward angle to her body too.
Here she is again..

She is the one on my avatar, and was lots cuter two weeks ago, but that is how it goes with all of them. I have no doubt she will be a lovely hen one day, but she is looking rough at this point. The feather color is a musty brown and the tips a very light buff spangling. Watch it be just another EE

No, I doubt that is an EE. .. And I think it is a cockerel, whatever it is. Neat though - Especially to see a yellow chick go solid blue/black.

I just sent an e-mail with pictures to someone who has Cubalayas. I saw their birds on the Breed page and they look like a definite possibility. I would love to have one, they are very different with their down-turned tails that are kind of like a lobster's.

it's a bald eagle.. c'mon.. look at hte white head...
sorry... i've been up for almost 40 hours now.. and i couldn't resist..

she's cute though...

Actually, they listed the birds that were supposed to be the replacements for those they didn't have from my order, but I have two extras, this one and a Black Ameraucana. That one was easy when the muffs showed themselves, but this one is tricky.
